About the Event

Get ready for a night of blues, soul and rock as Xander & The Peace Pirates come to The Generator, Loughborough.

Brothers Keith and Stu Xander were discovered on YouTube by Gibson Guitars and went on to perform for the company at events from LA to Dubai. Frontman Keith was born without a right arm below the elbow and plays using a prosthesis with a pick fixed to a hook. His playing has earned him a reputation as one of the most exciting guitarists on the circuit.

The band spent five years as the resident band at Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club and have since supported Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, The Temperance Movement and Bon Jovi at Old Trafford.

Their debut album, 11:11, was recorded at Wisseloord Studios near Amsterdam and released on V2. It won praise from Classic Rock and from BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris.

Expect searing guitar, soulful vocals, plenty of energy and a message of peace, love and harmony, all in the intimate setting of The Generator.
